This article inspects the likely outcome of using fair value (FV) concept on audit firms’ anomalous fees. The research performs fixed effects regression to evaluate given hypotheses data gathered by hand from 105 Jordanian publicly traded enterprises between 2005 and 2018. study reveals that FV proxies have a favorable substantial effect atypical fees paid enterprises. findings are more evident for businesses with higher percentage subjective FVs (level 3 assets). gives current empirical information adopting IFRS/IAS policymakers standard setters. results contribute offering recommendations factors influence auditors clients. present updates Fair Value Disclosure (FVD) auditing model adds new close gap in literature.
